2008 SPRING CAMP DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

WEEK 1 April 02 - April 06
WEEK 2 April 09 - April 13

Southwinds Equestrian Center will be hosting Spring camp 2008. Students will learn proper riding skills, horse care and horse safety. They will also participate in numerous horse related activities such as mini shows, ground and mounted games, crafts and movies.

CAMP HOURS ARE FROM 9:00 AM TO 3:00 PM DAILY.

You can attend daily or weekly sessions.

The cost is: $75.00 for the day, $300 for the week. Additional fees will apply for registering through the website. The total amounts will be $77.50 daily and $310 weekly.

Prices are per student. If registering one or more family member a $50 discount will be given on only one family member (both must register for the weekly session). Payment must be made in full (no exceptions).

NO MAKE-UP DAYS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR RAIN OR PERSONAL REASONS. (SPECIAL ACTIVITIES WILL BE PLANNED IN CASE OF RAIN.)

There is a minimum of 5 students required to run the camp. You will receive your confirmation of acceptance. We will not accept any students that have not been pre-registered. (NO DROP-OFFS ALLOWED).

Southwinds suggests to the new students to take at least 2 lessons before your camp begins to take full advantage of the camp.

Southwinds will not accept any children with special needs or learning disabilities, ask us and we will recommend a proper place for your child.

Invite a friend to camp and Southwinds will deduct $50 from your fee. You and your friend must register for the entire week and your friend must be a new student at Southwinds.

All aplications must be completed and turned in with payment 5 business days in advance to the week you plan to attend. A week in advance is required if payment will be made by check and application in person.

THE STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING:

1.- Cold drinks, lunch, snacks (money for ice cream).

2.- Proper riding clothes (breeches or jeans, paddock boots or sneakers with a little bit of heel and a riding helmet.)

3.- A change of clothes and a towel.

4.- SUNSCREEN.

5.- Horse treats (OPTIONAL).
