Southwinds Equestrian Center hosts camps throughout the year whenever school's out. Students learn proper riding skills, horse care, and horsemanship safety. They also participate in numerous equine activities such as mini shows, ground and mounted games, crafts and movies.

Camp hours are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily.

Southwinds Equestrian Center schedules several trail rides during the year to state parks and beaches. Come to our trail rides and enjoy games, bar-b-q's and ride till you drop!

Southwinds Equestrian Center gives "in house" shows for its boarders and students. These horse shows encourage all students to participate with classes for all levels of equitation. The emphasis is on fun and personal enjoyment rather than placing, but it is a great introduction to the competition experience and we try to hire recognized judges. Because our students are taught proper basics right from the beginning, with correct technique and equitation styles, the show experience is totally enjoyable and of great confidence building.
